The artist was born on 26 November 1996 at Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo and her maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. She was just six when she left her family moved to Point Pleasant New Jersey. She completed her education at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. After that, she went to Catholic University, where she received a degree in architecture. Her first violin lessons began when she was four years old, and was referred to as the Violin Girl. The name she was given by her first name because of her appearances. She was also a violin teacher for the children of the surrounding area. When she was 19, she enrolled in the sixth American Idol season and performed in the only Free 1976. The show was cut short when she was ranked 16th. There were many songs she performed, such as the 2009's "The Christmas Song" and 2010's Out for Blood. Her appearances have also included the shows of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba rose to stardom singing in the United States on the show's 6th season American Idol. After she was eliminated following the 16th spot on the show she also started to do it in the front of camera. This is why she's appeared in small roles in film and participated in Fear Factor's season in 2012. The singer was discovered to be in possession of more than 400 grams of Fentanyl with intent to distribute.
